    The 6'6" 263 pound Spencer is now 4-0 with 3 knockouts.  Taking a short notice fight in San Jose CA. the "Giant" claims victory over Theron Johnson.

    They're men with rhythm and naval rank, 3rd Class Petty Officer Cole Childers and 1st Class Petty Officer Brian Farley.  In their band manager's Chesapeake Garage, something special happens.  The two sailors drop their guard and pick up a guitar and microphone.

    On a bright May morning, 5,000 sailors and Marines bid farewell to their loved ones as the USS Nimitz departs for a six-month deployment.


    I believe that taking care of your Sailors is to be a mentor to them, especially for the newest of us.  Don't forget that for the vast majority . . .

    My views of life at sea.  I think it depends on the type of ship you are on at the time. On something like an aircraft carrier, watching flight ops was really cool.

    Nobody wants to toot their own horn. Sailors feel that their efforts should be recognized. Sometimes submitting yourself for an award is the only way to be recognized.
